We went to a $2 Tuesday Sky Sox game tonight... which means $2 tickets, $2 parking, and $2 beers! We went with a big group of friends and enjoyed a great night at the ballpark.

2 awesome years.

Today is anniversary #2 for the Cheney's... woohoo! It has been an amazing two years. G is a super husband. He is so good at making me feel special... like I am the luckiest girl in the world. It is crazy to think that we have been an "item" for seven years... SEVEN years! That is so cool. I love that we have a history. I love that we went to our high school prom together. I love that we can throw away one set of JHS yearbooks because we were high school sweethearts. I love that we were able to make memories at Purdue together. I treasure those years when we were dating... and now I am so happy to have married years to treasure. He will be so fun to grow old with... I can't wait to retire and live in New York City. I am pretty sure it will happen.

G... thanks for loving Goodwill finds as much as I do, for dressing up with me for costume parties, for taking LOTS of photos with me, for being neat & tidy, for letting me have a craft room, and for asking me to be your wife. I love you tons... here's to a million trillion lifetimes.

Happy Father's Day! G and I have amazing dads. We are so thankful for them... it is truly a blessing that we both have such awesome parents. Dad- thanks for all the beanie babies, the barbie playset stickers that you put on, the best tight-rolled jeans, and the laughs.

It is pretty awesome that we were able to spend both Mother's Day and Father's Day with our parents this year. G's parents hosted everyone at their home... lots of good food and family time. And even a cake to celebrate anniversary #2 for us!

The woodworking men were at the house today... putting in all the trim and doors. It really made it seem even more like a real HOUSE! Woohoo! I love that I get to go check it out every day after work... I'm sad that G can't experience it. It is super fun.

We are going home to Indiana this weekend for the wedding of one of our best friends Brent. He has been a close friend of G's for many years... and a close friend of mine as well. During our five years of dating, Brent was our third wheel and we loved having him around. He is fun and crazy and creepy and awesome all at the same time. We love him tons and are super excited to see him marry Allie! It will be a sweet reunion with many friends as well... including our dear friend Ben who lives in Turkey. Can't wait!

I went garage sale shopping with my friend Carey this morning. My last experience wasn't that great so I had low expectations. But this time was great... scrapbook paper & stickers, stamps, fabric, and a cowboy boot mug! We found one sale selling entirely scrapbooking things... so awesome.

G made me a surprise dinner and dessert tonight... baked ziti and carmel corn! He is the best.

We went to the circus tonight to celebrate wedding anniversary #2. I had never been to the "normal" circus before... just the fancy Cirque du Solei shows. I really enjoyed it!
