We celebrated Melissa & baby Alice this evening... we are so excited to meet the little lady. It was a night of tasty food, super cute presents, crazy games, and lots of laughs among great girlfriends. And I must say... we make a great shower-creating team!

G and I went to Denver this past Wednesday to help his cousin clean out the attic of the crazy, old house he is redoing... John and his wife Maggie have a blog about their journey, The Cheney's House to Home. I can't wait to see the end result! I was able to take some treasures home that I found in the attic... the previous owner was a bit crazy and had some creepy things, but I am happy with my finds. I finally had time today to sort and clean everything... a much needed cleaning!

My sweet friend Melissa is going to be having a little girl in a few months... baby Alice! I am planning a shower for her with all of my girls... I am in charge of invitations & decorations, perfect! I decided to go with an owl and garden theme, which is similar to Alice's nursery. I stayed home sick today with an annoying cold, so I was able to spend lots of time making the invitations.
