our week.

caroline & i joined a mama & me book club. this month's theme was transportation.
love that it is finally dresses with leggings weather!
smile time at ballet/jazz.
and smile time at tap.
millie woke up with her first wiggly tooth!
i say target, she says slushie.
i have a growing collection of photos with this red barn/garage in the background... it's our normal parking spot for school pickup.
the little girl that lives behind us is in millie's class... she came over & asked if millie could play.
millie loved showing her around the house. and caroline loved it too.
another major mom moment... putting patches on a girl scout vest. (other major mom moments: scholastic book orders & field trip chaperoning.) how do i have a 5year old kindergartner?!
first daisies meeting!
another mom posted this to our troop's facebook group.
ending the meeting with the friendship squeeze.
another sparkles performance!
they performed at the gymnastics mock meet at dmg.

first month of kindergarten.

papa was her first lunch visitor. he sent this photo along with a few videos.
they had to draw what they saw in the container holding the catepillars/chrysalis.
the first thing she wants every day after school... her lunch box to finish whatever she has left from her lunch.
their big reading goal for the year is to read 1000 books. if they reach that goal, they get to have a pizza party with their teacher. we have to write down all of the books that we read to her, and turn in lists of 25 as we fill them up. she read her first 100! every time they read 100, they get to be on the morning video announcements... they say their name, who their teacher is, and that they read 100 books. she was pretty excited to tell me all about it.
sophie drew millie a picture of them together. so dang cute.
another one from sophie.
one of my favorite drawings by millie... she drew her cheer camp performance at the harrison football game.
nana took millie to school on the day that she went in to help the teacher make applesauce with the class.
"thanks to millie's grandma for coming in to help with the applesauce."
one day she got in the car and said, "when mrs. jones handed me my folder today, i told her "i love school!"" i am so happy that she loves school so much... it has made this new season of life so easy for our family.
