millie's twenty-fourth month...
-she is still wearing 12, 12-18, 18, & a few 18-24month clothes.
- she is still wearing a size4 shoe.
- she is wearing a size3 diaper.
- she weighs between 22 & 23pounds.
- this is the last full month with pediasure in her milk.
- she is still taking a 2-4hour nap in the afternoon.
- she LOVES peanut butter. she used to have peanut butter toast every morning until she started to just lick the peanut butter off and leave the bread... now she just gets spoons full of it.
- she is officially a picky eater.
- she is saying 3, 4, and sometimes 5 word sentences.
- our favorite expression is when she says "cooool" & "whoa" when we show her something new.
- she almost always says "please" & "thank you" without prompting.
- she knows what her name is.
- she tells you how old she is.
- she is learning shapes, colors, & letters really well. she can point out & name a few of each.
- elmo & playdoh are still her favorite things.
- she loves baths, and asks for one daily... really she just loves playing in water.
- she had two 2nd birthday parties.
- she breaks out in song a few times a day. sometimes it is one that we know and sometimes it is an original.
- she is in her first tumbling class, and is super timid in it.
- she is getting her 2year molars, and it is the worst teething we've seen from her. teething in the past went mostly unrecognized, except for the excessive drool and the new tooth. this time around she has been super grumpy, super clingy, and only wants her mama. its been draining, and we cant wait for these new teeth!
- she was sick for a few days this month with a cold. she woke up a few times a night for a few days, and we thought we were going to die! we love our great sleeper!
- she tries to jump all the time, and she barely gets her feet off the ground. it makes up laugh.
- she is best friends with gracie, and loves to walk holding hands with her.
- she always asks for blankie.
- she tells miss cube goodbye in the parking lot when we go into a store, and says "miss cube, where are you?" when we come back out into the parking lot.
- she regularly sets up picnics & tea parties for us.
- and she has been prefering sitting at the table with us over her high chair. miss independent!
