cal & joyce offered to pick my mom & g's dad up from the airport and bring them to colorado springs... it was a huge help to us, and we were able to see them one last time before we leave. i've loved living near them.

goodbye kgroup.

i can't imagine life without kgroup. we were newly married couples together, we were new homeowners together, we were new parents together, and then we became families of four together. the support from this group has been the reason why we lived in colorado for so long... through tough times with millie and lots of life changes- they were our family & loved us so well. we have serious history together, and i love that. seven years of wonderful memories, fifteen babies that i love so much, and fourteen forever friends. thanks for everything, kgroup.

camping!

camping with a 2month old the weekend before our big move may not have been the smartest choice, but i'm so happy we did it! it was raining when we arrived, but cleared up just in time for us to set up camp before dark. caroline went to sleep easily, and then we made s'mores with millie & spent time by the fire. millie & i went to sleep, and g followed a few hours later. the girls slept awesome, so i slept great- for being in a tent outside. we had breakfast & packed up, and then headed to the reservoir for a few hours!

we would have loved to have our last time camping in colorado be in a beautiful spot in the mountains, but this was great for what our family needed now- we didn't have the time to make a big weekend trip to a spot farther away, and it would have probably been too cold for caroline in the mountains. i'm happy her first time camping was in colorado! and her first time in a swimsuit was at the reservoir!

 we are going to miss young life. they have all been so sweet to our little family over the past 7years.

"what happened to my room?" she's been pretty awesome about packing all of her stuff- minimal frustration about things already being packed. thanks goodness. she did have a night terror last night after we drastically changed her room... just what you see, plus her dresser, remains. i think it may have been a bit emotional for her and may have caused it- hoping it doesn't happen again. we hated it!

and one final appointment at the allergist- nothing new, thank goodness!
