all of the meals were WONDERFUL.
we are so thankful for our kgroup friends & g's coworkers that brought us meals.

an update.

we had a check-in at the pediatrician today... here is what we found out.

she weighs 6 pounds 15 ounces
she is 20.75 inches long
they felt a pop/click in her right hip so they need to do an ultrasound to check it out
(ultrasound should be sometime this week)
and they scheduled another overnight oxygen test for this thursday night

she is still teeny, but growing so they are happy.

speaking of growing... she has outgrown her blue hat & her preemie outfit.
thank goodness tina made her a pink newsboy hat in the next size!

we had some tummy time today... she's not a huge fan.

im loving that i can buy opentoed shoes again... goodbye job in a warehouse!
it was a perfect day to wear my new goodwill find.

one month.

Wow! I can't believe we have been parents to little Millie for one month! Times flies when you are sleeping little, changing lots of diapers, figuring out nursing, spending time with visitors, and loving the new little one.

millie's first month...
- she spent two nights in the NICU for jaundice and came home needing oxygen
- at the end of month one she weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces
- we are still figuring out the whole nursing thing... hopefully it will work soon
- she may begin to believe her real name is mildred because g loves to call her that
- she is a good baby... usually content & only cries when she is ready to eat
- we already love having photo shoots with her and she doesnt seem to mind them
- she is still wearing newborn diapers and clothes... some are still too big
- she was super sleepy for the first week or two but is now much more alert

we had a great day!
we were all rocking green, had a quick photo shoot, went to a lactation consult, had lunch with dad at young life, met another millie, received a present in the mail, mama enjoyed a green beer, and we did millies first overnight oxygen test.

i wonder how many times i was asked...
"when are you due?" and i said "march 13th".
and here it is. the due date. and we have a 3week old!
now the important date is february 18th!
