I hosted a party tonight for my girls... a cookie and ornament exchange Christmas party! Everyone wore tacky attire, baked a batch of cookies, and came ready to eat lots of sugar. I loved preparing for this party... I found so many fun Christmas things that were baking related! Lots of red & green, gingerbread men, rolling pins, and polkadots! I LOVE creating parties... especially in my own home. So much fun!

G and I went bowling tonight with his parents... we wore his grandparents' bowling shirts.

It is so fun to have our own home to decorate for Christmas... including lights outside! G was a rockstar and hung lights using our new ladder... another very adult thing to own! I really love how they look, exactly how I imagined them. Simple & cute.

We decorated for Christmas a bit early this year... G is going to be gone on a guys weekend next Friday through Sunday, so we decided to get the house ready tonight. I don't mind at all... the longer the better!
