it was crowded & a bit warm, but we still enjoyed territory days in old colorado city. nana bought millie this adorable sock monkey... the cutest one i have ever seen!

bowling.

we went out for dinner & bowling tonight at the new brunswick zone that recently opened near our house. bowling is a bit difficult with a baby... she was passed around lots, but didnt seem to mind. i think she liked all of the people watching! and she loved giving us all high fives.

i love the money, but hate all the prep work. obviously.

i also love getting things out of my house that we no longer need.

millie and i had to leave before the show started... but it was fun to have a quick picnic lunch with friends!

millie had her 15month check-up at her pediatrician's office today...

- she weighed 17pounds 10ounces, which is the 3rd percentile.

- she measured 28.5inches long, which is the 8th percentile.

- her head circumference is in the 3rd percentile.

- this was the first appointment that i would answer yes to almost all of the milestone questions... walking was the only no!

- her doctor was so excited to see her looking healthy & active. 

- and she got two vaccines.

an appointment.

millie had an appointment at childrens this morning... here is what we learned!

- she gained almost a pound in the last month & grew a whole inch! she now weighs 17pounds 10ounces... which is up from 16pounds 4ounces. the pediasure is working.

- her labs are looking better every time... getting back to normal after the freak out last month.

- medications are staying the same and diet/pediasure is staying the same.

- we discussed her gagging/throwing up issues during meal times with her doctor. she wants us to take millie to an allergist just to make sure that it isnt a food allergy causing this or any of her other feeding issues/appetite issues. i will most likely schedule this appointment with an allergist in colorado springs.

- her physical exam was great. 

- and she was cleared for our indiana trip next month... we have a follow-up appointment at the end of june.

- they were super excited to see her weight gain, and they loved seeing her bounce back so well from her small bit of rejection last month!

g has been running with millie a lot lately...

it is perfect! alone time at home for mama & time outside for them!

fifteen months.

millies fifteenth month...

- she is still wearing size3 diapers.

- she is still wearing 6-12month clothes. and 9month.

- she weighs over 16pounds... we will find out her weight on monday.

- she is taking 3-4 8ounce bottles of pediasure per day.

- she is eating 3 meals a day, most days. she no longer wants to eat purees... and she will only allow us to spoonfeed her yogurt. she has toast, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, or yogurt for breakfast. lunch meats, bread, pb&j sandwiches, fruit, and sometimes leftovers for lunch. and we try to share our dinners with her if we can. she is slowly getting a bigger appetite- possibly the zinc or possibly she is just feeling better from teething. im not sure she will be a big eater until she is off of the high calorie pediasure... or if she will ever be a big eater! hoping that she has been gaining weight this past month!

- her medications are still the same.

- her sleep has changed a bit this month. she is still sleeping through the night, but she is waking up at a different time every morning. and her naps have been all over the place! some days she takes 2, some days she takes 1, some days she takes 0... and the time is not predictable. hopefully it becomes a bit more predictable next month... i like a bit more of a schedule!

- she learned to sign book.

- still crawling. still cruising. she is become more & more steady on her feet, and she can now walk while holding only one of our hands.

- she loves playing with her bubble container & wand... and everything else that she shouldnt be getting in to around the house.

- she still has 6 teeth... her molars have all broken through partially, and she is getting another front bottom tooth.

- she is saying bye to everyone. and starting to mimic our words & sounds more.

- she gives high fives and blows kisses.
- she can tell us where her head is... and sometimes her nose.

- she makes the funniest faces all the time.

- she loves taking baths.

- she sat in grass for the first time.

- and she had her first overnight in the hospital since her transplant in october. a liver biopsy.

she's growing.
