| santa came! i was awake & sick trying to sleep on the couch when millie came out at 6am... she's been getting up earlier than normal lately, but then goes back to sleep out in the living room or on the floor beside our bed- i hadn't thought through what this may mean for christmas morning- santa maybe should have waited to visit our house until morning. when she saw me on the couch & saw that santa had brought presents, she was instantly hyper & ready to open them. i felt terrible and couldn't even begin to think about getting up for presents, so i woke g up to help with her. he wasn't successful in getting her back to sleep, so he decided to take her on a car ride... she fell asleep soon after he started driving. i'm not sure how long he drove with her before he came back home. it was a crazy morning! |

| we spent the rest of the morning & afternoon with my family... chris & jess and my grandma. we had lunch, and then opened presents. my parents gave millie & caroline a teepee along with a little teepee for their dolls, and a stuffed campfire for pretend camping. so dang cute! my fever was around 103, so i didn't take many photos... but we got lots of awesome things. thanks to my mom & dad and chris & jess for everything! |

| after chris & jess headed home, we went over to g's parents' house for dinner & christmas with his family. i really failed at photos of present opening... but i'm thankful that we got a family photo! and thankful for all of our presents for g's parents! |
