our easter.

baskets on the porch from grams & gramps and an egg hunt in our yard!
no cute dresses for church this year... couch church in jams.
pinterest & dollar tree helped me with ideas & supplies for 10 easter 'minute-to-win-it' games!
a favorite... 'bunny tails' (marshmallows) thrown on shaving cream.
and a completely random & unexpected knock on the door... the easter bunny was walking around our neighborhood!
happy easter... he is risen indeed!

our fourth week of social distancing.

no home depot kids' workshops currently happening in the store... but you can still get the free kits to do at home- saw the tip on a friend's instagram post. the girls enjoyed this one.
making slime on the driveway. they needed an ingredient to make a special one that they found in a book, so i called my mom to see if she had some. she brought it over & then hung out on the driveway for a few hours. it's been so weird to not go to their house for the past few weeks! both of my parents are still working- though my mom will be switching to working at home soon. we are trying to follow all of the rules... even though it's weird to not let you mom come in your house!
no hugs... but we can talk!
grant dropped cooper off for a visit.
dang it.
sidewalk chalk messages & drawings have been popular during this time... everyone is out walking around their neighborhoods, because we are all stuck at home. our neighborhood doesn't have a ton, but i've seen lots on social media.
had to go to the dermatologist to have a spot on the bottom of my foot removed... call when you arrive, someone will let you in the employee door, don't touch anything, no waiting room, quick removal, & then back out the employee door.
at walmart. starting to see this kind of sign everywhere.
video chats with piper.
tap at home is tricky, so grams & gramps bought millie a tap floor.
a bunny drawing with mrs. a.
egged by piper & wren!
a new bike for caroline!
decided it was safe to hang out with chloe & michelle outside at our house... thought riding bikes would be perfect for them to be together, but keep their distance. millie has been slow to learn to ride without training wheels- well she finally figured it out! chloe encouraged her & g helped her... and she rode on the street instead of the sidewalk to not have to worry about staying off the grass- and bam! she did it! so fun to have chloe here to celebrate with her.
they were so excited to hang out.
bge/bgi has been doing random spirit days to make e-learning a little more exciting- crazy hair day!
it's superhero week for art class. (and hard to see millie's crazy hair... half curly, half straight.)
they made the coolest pop-up cards. they are both giving them to their teachers.
a socially distanced backyard hangout at christina's with michelle.
a random 80degree day!
millie asked for a desk area downstairs for school. g found a small table at his parents' house that was perfect & my parents gave her an old computer to use for all of her e-learning & zoom dance calls.
it is now being recommended that people wear masks when they go in stores... we learned how to make one with a bandana & hair elastics. it is really weird, but does make me feel a little better about being out & it helps me not touch my face so much. i think it's more to keep your germs to yourself in case you are a carrier & aren't showing symptoms, but who knows... i'll do whatever to not get sick & make this end as soon as possible!
decorated for spring & easter... loved putting out my bugs!
thursday: team gym & jazz for millie. and friday: team tap.
not sure which is weirder- wearing a mask to target or that my hair is down. it is so long right now.
kona ice!
table is set for easter breakfast.
no cute dresses this year...

and the basket goodies are ready...
