our week.

we didn't get home from my parents' house after the superbowl until almost 11... she slept until 11 the next morning.

if the flag is up, then there is a treat inside... hooray for valentine's day week!

a tattoodle... put on the tattoo & then color it in with sparkly gel pens. she loved it.

caroline's favorite activity at grams' house... bandaids.

we went to a mother goose storytime for babies & toddlers at the library. older siblings were encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or doll to interact with during the stories & songs. millie loved getting to take her baby. it was so cute to watch her from across the room... making her baby do all the movements. caroline was way too busy to sit down in my lap & do the movements that went along with the stories & songs... but she danced & sang & had a great time.

92 weeks.

superbowl.

we went to my parents' house for pizza and to watch the game with my mom.

go broncos!

i almost got rid of this sweatshirt a few months ago, but i kept it just in case the broncos made it to the superbowl... thank goodness i did! it's the comfiest broken-in sweatshirt, and i know the perfect mama broncos fan to send it to in colorado.

puppy monkey baby. probably the creepiest creature ever... and most likely the most remembered superbowl commercial.

we rewound the puppy monkey baby commercial 3times for them... it wasn't enough. they watched it over & over on youtube.

hooray! the broncos won!

twenty-one months.

caroline's twenty-first month...

-she is wearing 12month & 12-18month clothes still... dresses & shirts are getting too short, so i think it's time to get out the 18month & 18-24months clothes.
- she is wearing size4 & size5 shoes.
- she is wearing size3/size4 diapers.
- she is still sleeping great overnight... maybe wakes up one night a week.
- she is taking longer naps in the afternoon. hallelujah!
- still nursing.
- she currently has 3 teeth coming in... the final 3 before her 2year molars.
- she finally started saying Millie! it is the cutest thing when she yells for her across the room... "millie! millie!" it kinda sounds like minnie when she says it.
- she now says ketchup, down, teeth, draw, and probably a few more words.
- she says, "no!" and crosses her little arms across her chest with so much sass.
- she says, "owww. owww." when we try to hold her or stop her from doing something... when it shouldn't be hurting her at all. it's real awesome when she does it in public.
- she sings her nonsense songs very loudly... and her favorite time to sing her loudest is when we are at a store or when we are in the car. it drives millie crazy.
- she loves brushing her teeth, and asks for it most nights before bed.
- she went to disney for the second time... she did awesome! and now has a love for anna & elsa.
- she loves getting to use markers.
- she got her first haircut. goodbye baby mullet.
- she is showing way more attitude, sass, and emotional ups & downs than millie ever did. 
- and she likes doing silly snapchat filters.

preschool. year two. week nineteen.

her monday creation.

each kid in the class was sent home with a bear in a bag. they were told to do something with the bear, and then they needed to draw a picture of the activity & have their parents help them write a story about it. millie chose to dance with her bear. she didn't really tap dance with it, but that is what she wanted to draw a picture of and that's the story she told.

her wednesday creation.

slumber party/movie night at school! they were asked to wear their pajamas and bring a comfy blanket & pillow. they were told that there would be a surprise visitor... it was a magician! after his performance, they had popcorn & watched a curious george movie. she was so excited for it all week, and she said it was a fun night.

letter of the week. they were asked to bring their favorite stuffed animal for "show & smell" today.

today was also pajama day!

we love when our quick stops by owen's house turn into an hour of hang out time!

we had a playdate at janelle & ben's house... i knew their mama, sarah, in high school & college- didn't really hang out together, but knew one another from different activities and she married one of my friends from high school. anways- this picture is at their house, and it perfectly depicts the girls thoughts about dogs... millie is scared and didn't come down from the chair until the door on the cage was latched & caroline is trying to go into the cage to be with the dog.

we really enjoyed our morning with friends!

members only evening hours at the children's museum! our first stop was the chocolate slide.

we finally got to check out the new "pirates & princesses" exhibit.
