she had an appointment this morning, followed by an ultrasound...
- she was perfect during her labs again. what a doll!
- she lost 100grams, but her length & head circumference increased.
- her doctor is going to continue to keep her off of the feeding tube, even with the weight loss! she feels like millie still looks healthy & happy and wants to see her do it on her own. yay!
- the plan is to add extra calories to her food, since she is taking it so well. we will be adding 2tablespoons/day of a powder that will add an additional 100calories to her diet. hopefully this will do the trick! we dont want to go home for christmas with the feeding tube!
- another idea was to try avocado... and also see if she will take oatmeal.
- her physical exam was great.
- they are waiting to see her lab & ultrasound results to know if the increased liver number is still an issue this week.
- she was perfect during the ultrasound... no crying. she just played with toys and watched tv the whole hour. i cant believe how great she is during all of her appointments. it makes me a proud mama! and she was given a stuffed bear for being such a great little patient!
(update: her labs looked better this week and her ultrasound was stable with no changes compared to her previous ultrasounds! no issues this week!)
